The Kindle Fire, first tablet to Amazon with the Android operating system, is having gradually increasing success worldwide, especially now that it was almost made for Europe (more precisely for the UK).
Already there are many pieces sold to Kindle Fire and probably will increase, because it was found a perfect match between technical characteristics and price which makes it accessible and somehow "desirable".
The news today however is not so much about the Kindle Fire but of porting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich made for the same from the developer community. Obviously this is an Alpha version, and then semi-functioning and not yet optimized, however the works seem already to a good point, we see:
What works:
1. Touch Panel.
2. graphics Hardware
What does not work:
Audio, wifi, accelerometer, light sensor.
We'll keep you updated!
